Print From Windows Mobile 6

Windows Mobile 6 is an operating system that runs on several brands and models of mobile phones. Phones using Windows Mobile 6 are capable of surfing the Web and uploading emails. Additionally, printing from a mobile phone can be done by uploading and installing special software that is compatible with your printer.

Instructions

1. By computer, navigate to the Windows Mobile Software Download page (link provided in "Resources."). This site provides several programs that will allow you to print from your Windows Mobile device.

2. Click "Download Trial" of one of the "ActivePrint" programs. These trials allow you to test the software before deciding whether to buy it. This brings up a new page. Type your email address and click "Download Trial." Open your email account and download the link sent to you.

3. Connect your phone to the computer via USB data cable. Open "My Computer" (or "Computer" in later Windows versions) and open the "Removable Storage Device." Drag and drop the downloaded file into the phone. Once it has copied, double-click the file to install it on your phone.

4. Remove your Windows Mobile phone from the computer and activate the program you installed. It is going to search for a nearby wireless printer. Once it finds a device, select it.

5. Open the file you would like to print and you will be presented with a "Print" option. Follow the prompts to send the data to the wireless printer, and in a moment the document will begin printing.
