Sync A Palm Desktop With Yahoo Autosync

Palm Desktop is the personal information organizing application for the Windows and Mac OS which is used with a Palm OS PDA (Personal Digital Assistant). The application assists in the organization of various items of information, such as personal contacts, calendars and notes. Through the built-in syncing capabilities of the Palm Desktop program, a user can easily set up the syncronization of this organized information with web-based application like Yahoo! Autosync.








Instructions


1. Open Yahoo! AutoSync in your web browser and Palm Desktop application on the computer.








2. Configure the way in-which you want the information to sync in Yahoo! Autosync. You will have options of syncing information, one-way, from Palm Desktop to Yahoo! Autosync or two-way between between the two programs.


3. Configure how often you want Yahoo! Autosync to synchronize changes. You sync information in regular intervals, such as 30 or 60 minutes; or set to manual sync.


4. Click "Contacts" in the Palm Desktop application. Then click "Groups", then "Preferences & Accounts" in the drop-down menu. This will open a dialog window with the list of sync connections. Click on "Yahoo! Sync". Then click "Sync."
