Digital picture frames read memory cards to display various images on the screen. These frames have the benefit of displaying a variety of photos in a slide show. Instead of displaying only one image, you can display entire albums. The number of images is only limited by the storage size of the memory card. Putting pictures on a memory card requires the use of a card reader that attaches to a computer through a USB port.
Instructions
1. Remove the digital frame memory card and insert it into a digital card reader with a USB connection. There are many card readers available on the market that work with a variety of memory cards. Make sure the reader is compatible with your memory card.
2. Plug the card reader into the USB port of the computer. Locate the drive when it appears on the computer. Mac users should see the disk appear on the desktop. Windows users should look in "My Computer" to find the disk.
3. Locate the files on the computer that will go in the digital frame. Click on each file and drag it into the card reader disk that was located in Step 2.
4. Eject the card reader from the USB port. Remove the memory card; insert it back into the digital picture frame.
