The problem many people have with styluses is they feel uncomfortable and unnatural to write with. To solve this problem, stylus pens are available which are just like an ordinary stylus, but housed inside a typical pen casing. These cost anywhere from $10 to $30. However, you can make your own for the price of a stylus and an ordinary pen.
Instructions
1. Select an ink pen and a stylus. The first thing you'll need to determine is if your stylus will fit inside the ink tube of the pen. Your best bet is a narrow stylus and a pen with a wide ink tube.
2. Take apart the pen. Remove all the internal components of the pen including the ink tube and any springs inside the pen.
3. Remove any appendages from the stylus. Many styluses have small adaptations which serve as a grip or a tab to help hold the stylus in the device. Cut these adaptations off to help the stylus fit inside the pen.
4. Drain the ink from the ink tube. You will want to make sure you have drained all of the ink to prevent dripping ink on your device's screen. To drain the ink, remove the pen point from the ink tube. After pouring out the ink, soak the tube in hot water to get rid of any remaining ink.
5. Insert the stylus into the ink tube. If it does not fit, try using an ink tube from a different pen.
6. Put the contents of the pen back together. Make several stylus pens to keep at work and around house so you'll always have one within reach.
