Swap Out A Bad Xm Receiver With A New Radio







XM is a satellite radio service that is owned and operated by Sirius XM Radio. XM is a paid subscription based service that features over 125 channels of music, news, sports and talk radio. To use the XM satellite radio service, you need an XM satellite radio receiver. If your receiver stops working during the warranty period you can swap out the bad XM receiver through XM Radio's customer care department.


Instructions


1. Call XM Radio customer care at 800-746-7961.


2. Request a return authorization number (RMA) from the customer service representative. Explain the problem you are having with the XM receiver. The customer service representative will ask you for the defective device's serial number. The serial number is usually located on the back or on the bottom of the device.








3. Place the defective radio in a box and send the package to XM Satellite Radio, c/o Dot Com Dist., 300 Nixon Lane, Edison, NJ 08837. Write the RMA number directly on the shipping label.
