Get A Jawbone To Fit Properly

Many states have enacted, or are considering enacting, laws that require drivers to use hands-free headsets to speak on mobile phones while driving. A Jawbone is a noise-canceling Bluetooth headset made by Aliph that has been named an "Editors' Choice" by CNET. Aside from using the headset to make telephone calls, you can listen to MP3s, driving directions and caller ID information, and check your mobile phone's battery status. The Jawbone comes with multiple ear buds and ear loops to customize a comfortable fit for all ear shapes and sizes.

Instructions

1. Determine the ear on which you will wear the headset. The Jawbone comes configured to fit in your right ear. Remove the ear loop by pulling it straight up out of the headset if you plan to wear it in your left ear. Turn it upside down and reinsert it into the hole at the base of the ear bud barrel.

2. Put the headset on your ear. Place the ear loop around your ear and then insert the ear bud into your ear.

3. Determine the fit of the current ear loop. Measure the alternative provided ear loops by holding them against your ear if the pre-installed loop does not fit. Pull the ear loop out of the base of the ear bud barrel to remove it.

4. Insert a new ear loop by placing it in the hole at the base of the ear bud barrel and pushing down until it will not go any further.

5. Determine the fit of the ear bud. Remove the ear bud on the Jawbone by turning it clockwise one-quarter turn and gently pulling it off the headset if the pre-installed bud does not fit.

6. Place the new bud on the barrel with the narrow end of the bud facing up. Turn the ear bud one-quarter turn counterclockwise toward the microphone to lock it onto the headset. Continue trying ear buds until you find one that fits.
