Load Games Onto A Lexar Memory Stick

Lexar memory stick cards provide storage for on-the-go gamers.

Sony PSP consoles provide memory sticks for their games that allow you to download and save games from the Internet. However, Lexar is another brand of memory sticks that works with PSP game systems. From 4 to 8 gigabytes of storage, a Lexar Gaming Memory Stick Micro (M2) Card enables you to carry your games with you wherever you go.

Instructions

1. Insert your Lexar® Gaming Memory Stick Micro™ (M2™) Card into your PSP console's memory stick slot.

2. Load the PSP main menu and select "Settings." Now choose "Format Memory Disk." This is for brand new cards only. If your memory card already has games on it, formatting the memory disk will delete any files stores on the card.

3. Connect your PSP console to your computer with the USB cables. These come with your game system. Change your console to PSP mode by pressing "Home," then go to "Settings" and select "USB Connection." Press "X" to enter USB mode.

4. Download the PSP games into the folder PSP>GAME on your Lexar Memory Stick. The system defaults this folder name when you format the disk, but you can type the name in all caps from your computer with the PSP console connected by the USB cables.

5. Finish downloading the games onto the PSP memory stick and then disconnect your PSP from the computer. Go to PSP main menu, then to "GAME" and scroll down to "Memory Stick." Then press "X." All your game files should now display.

6. Choose your game and press "X" to play your selection.
