Sync Apps With A Palm Treo







The Palm Treo is Palm's main line of cell phones for the consumer. Because it runs on Palm OS, it is capable of synchronizing with a computer in order to install applications that with with the Palm OS Operating system. Furthermore, the Palm Treo can also synchronize the apps that it has on the PDA Phone as well so that they always have the most updated information.


Instructions








1. Download applications you want from the Internet.


2. Open Palm Desktop, and browse to the file that contains the applications that you downloaded. Click on the "Quick Install" tab in Palm Desktop.


3. Drag the downloaded files into the Quick Install window. They should enter the installation queue.


4. Connect your Palm Treo to your computer via the USB cable.


5. Perform a Hotsync with your computer. The Hotsync will install the apps to your palm. If the apps support updating information with the PC, the Hotsync will also synchronize that information.
