Delete Images On My Olympus Digital Camera

Delete Images on My Olympus Digital Camera

Olympus creates both professional and everyday use digital cameras. Generally, the playback mode is the same through all of the Olympus cameras. To save space on your camera's memory card, you can delete the pictures that come out poorly. This helps create more space on the card if you are starting to run out through the day and you do not have a way to get to a computer to save your images. Scanning and deleting the bad pictures may be the only solution.

Instructions

1. Press the "Playback" button on the camera, or set the dial at the top to "Playback," depending on which Olympus model you own. (Refer to your user's manual for the location of the Playback button, if necessary.) This will open the playback mode on the camera so you can view your pictures.

2. Use the left and right arrows on the pad on the camera to browse through the pictures until you find the one you want to delete.

3. Press the "Erase" button. This is the button with the image of a garbage can on it.

4. Use the up and down arrows on the pad to move to the deleting function.

5. Press "OK" to confirm the permanent deletion of the photo.
