Replace An Htc Hero Sd Card

The HTC Hero is an Android-powered cellphone available on Sprint's CDMA cellular network. The device comes with a 2-gigabyte microSD card that allows the user to store pictures, movies, music and other multimedia files on the device. Replacing the card that comes with the device involves opening the device's battery compartment, which can be accomplished in a few quick steps.

Instructions

1. Turn the HTC Hero over and apply pressure to the battery compartment cover on the back of the phone. Push the cover up until it slides off the case. Set the cover aside for later reassembly.

2. Locate the microSD card. It is inside the battery compartment on the right side of the battery. Press on the microSD card to eject it from the card slot. Remove the card from the slot.

3. Insert the new microSD card into the card slot with the contact points facing away from you. Press the card into the slot until it clicks into place.

4. Slide the battery cover over the open compartment on the back of the HTC Hero and snap it shut.
