Nokia 6133 Instructions

The Nokia 6133 is a mobile phone released in 2006. The 6133 includes the standard calling and messaging features available on most mobile phones, as well as additional features such as a music player. In order to get the most out of your phone, learn the proper instructions for calling, messaging and operating the music player.

Calling

The Nokia 6133 was designed with several different methods to make phone calls. The first is to enter the number manually using the numbered keypad. Once the number is entered, press the green "Call" button. The "Call" button is located to the left of the navigation buttons.

If you have recently called the same number, you can select the number from the list of dialed numbers. To access the list, press the "Call" button while the phone is in standby. Highlight the number you want to call with the navigation buttons and press the "Call" button to make the call.

You can also call a number stored to your "Contacts" list. To call a number from your "Contacts" list, select "Menu," "Contacts" and "Names." A list of all of your saved contacts will appear on the screen. Scroll through the list with your navigation buttons until the person you want to call is highlighted, and press the "Call" button to make the call.

Text Messaging

Text messaging is a popular service offered on most mobile phones. Instead of calling a contact, you can send a short, text-based message. To send a text message, open the main menu and choose "Messaging," "Create Message" and "Text Message." If the person to whom you are sending the message is stored in your "Contacts" list, select "Add," "Contact" and choose the contact from the list. Messages sent to a new phone number are entered with the phone's number keypad in the "To" box. Move the cursor into the "Message" box and enter the message you want to send. Use the phone's keypad to write the message. When finished writing the message, select "Send."

Music Player

Nokia designed the 6133 with a music player that supports MP3 and AAC music files. To listen to songs on your phone, open the main menu and choose "Myfiles," "Media" and "Music Player." A list of the songs stored on your phone will appear onscreen. Scroll through the list of songs and highlight the one you want to play. Choose "Play" to start the song. You can stop the song by choosing "Stop," advance to the next song by choosing "Forward," and reverse to the previous song by pressing the "Reverse" button.
