The FujiFilm A500 is a portable digital camera that came out in the mid 2000s. Although slightly old in terms of technology, the 5.0 megapixel image quality is still capable of capturing decent looking images. You are able to save date and time information in the form of a small stamp, printed in the lower right corner of the image. The camera comes with this feature turned off, so if you want the time stamp turned on you must follow a few specific menu steps.
Instructions
1. Power on the FujiFilm A500 digital camera and wait for the hardware to finish running through its start up mode.
2. Press the "Menu" button on the rear of the device, then choose "Setup."
3. Select "Options," followed by "Date." This brings up the date display. The display blinks as it has not yet been set.
4. Push the top button on the control display to advance the first number in the date. Once you have the correct number selected press "Enter" and repeat the process for all the numbers. When the date is set the time information appears. Follow the same procedure to set the time. Press "Enter" to accept the changes. Now every image captured with the FujiFilm A500 saves the date and time to the image.
