Tell If Your Blackberry Curve Is Finished Charging
As Blackberry Curve users know, there is no alert to tell you when your phone is charged. Although the colored bars on the top right of your menu screen are pretty, they do not provide an accurate charge percentage. The following instructions give you a much more accurate idea of when your Blackberry Curve is finished charging. Although these instructions are specifically for the Curve model 8310, all Curve product settings are set up the same way.
Instructions
1. Select the "Settings" folder on your main menu. It looks like two sprockets in a file folder.
2. Select "Options" from the Settings menu (the icon looks like a monkey wrench).
3. Scroll down and select "Status" in the Options menu.
4. Read the number on the second line next to the word "Battery" in the Status menu. This is your charge percentage. Hopefully, it says "100%."
5. Continue charging your phone if your reading is less than 100 percent. Keeping your phone charged provides optimal results.
