The SkyCaddie SG5 is an electronic golf assistant that gives you access to up to 30,000 course maps. This digital caddie has a number of feature to help the avid golfer navigate the course and keep track of different aspects of their play, such ball-marking capabilities and scorecards. The unit also has a 2.2-inch backlit color screen. The basic instructions for the SG5 are straightforward.
Instructions
1. Loosen the screw on the battery compartment. Flip the back cover open. Insert the battery, aligning the metal contacts on the battery and the compartment. Flip the back cover closed and tighten the screw.
2. Plug the wall charger cable into the "Power" port on the side of the SkyCaddie. Plug the other end of the cable into the wall outlet. The battery charge indicator will show "Full Charge" when complete. Unplug the charger.
3. Press the "Power" button. Press the "Menu" button.
4. Scroll through the list of course maps. Press the right-side soft key to select a course. The course map will appear on the display.
5. Press the "Hole" button to enter "Course Tracking" mode. Press "Hole" for each hole on the golf course to move to the next screen.
