Even though computers were not originally designed to be used as TVs, it is possible to watch digital television programming on a computer once a TV tuner is installed on the operating system. A TV tuner is a device used to transfer and decipher a TV signal from an applicable source into your computer. Once installed, use the Windows Media Center software to watch digital TV programming from a cable TV or satellite source.
Instructions
1. Click "Start" and select "All Programs."
2. Click "Windows Media Center" from the list of programs. The Windows Media Center window opens.
