Downloading songs is one of many features that today's cell phones offer. It's also a fun way to personalize your phone. Downloading songs to your Motorola Razor is easy and quick if you follow these instructions.
Instructions
1. Add music to your computer's media player. Upload or download the music that you want to transfer to your cell phone.
2. Connect the USB cable. Plug the USB into both the computer and your cell phone. Allow a few seconds for the computer to detect the phone. The media player will indicate when the device has been detected.
3. Prepare to transfer music. Click "Sync" located on the media player's menu bar to calculate the amount of space available on your phone.
4. Choose the music to transfer. Locate the first song you want to transfer to your phone. Transfer the file one of two ways: Click the music file and drag it to the sync playlist, or double click the file and scroll to the "Sync" command located in the drop down menu. Organize all of the songs you want to transfer before syncing your phone.
5. Sync your phone. Click the "Sync" icon located at the bottom of your playlist to transfer music files. The screen will refresh and the sync playlist will appear in the center of the page. Songs will transfer one at a time. Do not unplug the USB cable before the transfer is complete.
6. Unplug the USB adapter when the media player indicates that all songs have been transferred. Close the media player to end the sync transfer.
