Instructions
1. Turn your controller upside down and locate the six screw areas. Take each one of the screws out and set them aside. Leaving the PS2 wireless controller upside down, separate the bottom portion.
2. Look for an additional screw in the bottom, center area. Take out this screw and set it aside as well. You should now be able to access the inside, and fix your PS2 wireless controller.
3. Find the two white sides in the controller. Pressing on each one will allow you to remove the inner portion of the PS2 wireless controller and be able to reach the directional pad.
4. Look for the green sensor square that is sitting on top of the directional pad area and remove it. In order to fix a PS2 wireless controller directional pad problem, you need to reattach the white piece underneath.
5. Take out the white piece that helps navigate the d-pad and turn it upside down. Check to see if there are any broken ends or if it just popped out of place. If you don't need to replace it, simply pop it back into place. Then simply reassemble your PS2 wireless controller.
