Learn properly program your XM radio.
XM Radio is a satellite radio service available through a variety of radios, including the SkyFi. The SkyFi radio has a five-line display that shows the user what song or program is playing at all times. The SkyFi also offers 30 programmable preset channels. It's important to learn the proper way to program your radio to ensure you can always find your favorite programs and channels with the touch of a button.
Instructions
1. Turn the SkyFi radio on by pressing the power button. The radio will default to the XM preview channel.
2. Tune to channel 10 by turning the scroll wheel. Activate the radio by leaving it on for a full hour. This completes the activation process. When completed, the entire channel lineup will appear on your radio screen.
3. Scroll to the channel to be programmed.
4. Program the channel into the SkyFi radio by pressing the "preset/direct" button. Preset blank "A" will appear on the screen. Press and hold the number key of the preset button with which you would like to program the channel. The SkyFi will beep twice signaling the channel is programmed.
5. Repeat this process for each channel you would like to program. Once all presets are full, press the "preset/direct" button twice to select the "B" program line.
