Connect Your Wireless Home Phone To A Digital Home Voicemail

Voicemail is defined as "a computerized system for answering and routing telephone calls." Most telephone companies offer a voicemail service, oftentimes for a small monthly fee. Rather than subscribe to a telephone company's voicemail service, you can purchase a digital answering machine, which will allow you to set up multiple mailboxes (kind of like a home voicemail system).

Instructions

1. Insert one end of a telephone line cord into a modular wall jack. Insert the other end of this cord into the telephone jack on the digital answering machine labeled "To Wall."

2. Plug one end of another telephone line cord into the telephone jack on the base of the cradle for the cordless home phone. Plug the other end of this cord into the telephone jack on the digital answering machine labeled "To Phone."

3. Connect the power cord that came with the digital answering machine to the device's power jack. Then plug the power adapter into a power strip or wall outlet.

4. Plug the small end of the power cord that came with the cordless phone into the power jack located on the cordless phone's cradle. Plug the other end of the cord into a power strip or wall outlet.
