Transfer An 8mm Tape To Vhs With Camera Audio/Video Outputs

Transferring your memories from 8mm to VHS is a process much like recording your favorite television shows. By hooking up the camera outputs to the VCR using the video and audio jacks, you can record the information on to the VHS tape without damaging or erasing the original 8mm recording.

Instructions

1. Locate and connect the wire that came with your camera to play your recordings on the television. This will have a jack to plug into the camcorder on one end and yellow, red and white plugs on the other end.

2. Inspect your VCR to to find yellow, red and white slots. Match these up with correct colors on your camera outputs and plug them in.

3. Insert a blank VCR tape into the VCR.

4. Put the tape you want to record into your camcorder.

5. Begin recording on your VCR. It will now record what your camcorder plays.

6. Play the tape in your camcorder to copy the recorded information onto the VCR tape.
