Build Your Own Projection Tv

So you've always wanted to create a projection TV! If you have an old TV lying around, you can make your own. While it may not be a fancy, new plasma screen television, you can successfully have your own projection TV without throwing the old TV away. Take advantage of what is written here, and take advantage of entertain yourself while saving money.

Instructions

1. Assemble all of your parts together, and make sure everything is in place. You do not want to look for things at the last minute. Wear gloves to protect your hands and protect you from electrical charges.

2. Taking apart your old TV to remove the screen. You are planning to use the tuner. The tuner, in turn, projects a signal. What you need to do is to take that signal and use the focusing lens display the images on a screen.

3. Arrange everything that it goes along with the focusing lens that you have. Put in that lens, and see how it works. If it does not try to check your connections, then, try to focus it on a point on the wall. If it works, you are ready for the next step.

4. You might want to change your TV cabinet to a smaller box as without the screen it will appear too big, and you do not need the extra space. A smaller box that will fit everything will be good. The focusing lens can be left to stick out of the box.

5. Polish the new box to whatever finish your décor has. Make it as inconspicuous as you can. It is not something that will be seen.

6. Install a screen in a prominent place in your room. It should be hung in a way that it is visible from all sides. Make sure there are no blank spots in the room, where you cannot see the screen. It is going to be the focus of attention.

7. Get ready to move the box a little when you test the best place to have the box. You wish to have it as far as possible from the screen but not farther than the focus allows. Find the right spot for it and place it on a table or stool.

8. Getting your system ready to be shown is another thing in the final steps of the process. The unit and the screen being in an optimum position would be ideal. Invite people to inspect your handiwork.
