Convert Uncompressed Vinyl To Cd

If you want to convert an uncompressed vinyl to CD then you can do so using your computer. With the right cable you can connect your record player or HiFi to your computer. Then using internal Windows tools, you can record sound from the other device and then burn it to CD.


Instructions








1. Connect the twin-phono connectors to the output of your HiFi or record deck. Connect the other end to the Line-in on your computer.


2. Click "Start," then "Control Panel." Double-click "Sounds." Click "Recording." Click "Line In." Close the window.


3. Click "Start," type "soundrecorder." Press "Enter."


4. Click "Start Recording." Play the record. Click "Stop Recording at the end of the track or side that you want to convert. Choose a location, such as the desktop, for the temporary files to be saved. Click "Save." Repeat with all tracks or sides.


5. Double-click those files on the desktop. Click "Burn" in Windows Media Player once it has opened.








6. Click and drag the songs to your "Burn list." Insert a blank disc and click "Burn."
