Recipe cards are treasures. They serve not only as convenient way to organize your recipes and keep them close at hand, but as a keepsake to be passed down to future generations. As such, you may want your Grandmother's chocolate chip cookie recipe to be written on something more personalized than an index card. For a professional and unique look, try printing your own recipe cards.








Instructions


1. Browse online for a recipe card template (see References). They are available in a variety of sizes and designs. While you can easily find recipe card templates for free, some websites may charge for certain styles or the ability to customize them.


2. Download the template. Most recipe card templates are available in a Word or PDF file. Make sure your computer has a program that can display the file type.


3. Print as many recipe cards as you need onto a heavy-duty card stock. Ordinary printer paper is not be sturdy enough.


4. Cut out your recipe cards and write your recipes on them.
