Adjust The Ear Pieces On Plastic Frames

There are many different headsets you can use for either talking on your cell phone or listening to your music device. Most of these headsets are made up of plastic frames with ear pieces on the side. However, not all individuals have the same facial shapes, so ear pieces may not fit exactly the same for you as they would for someone else. Luckily, there are several different models of plastic frame that allow you to adjust the ear pieces.

Instructions

1. Position the headphones or headset on your head. Older headsets are going to go directly over the top of your head, while others may sling around the back.

2. Pull the ear pieces down from the main part of the frame. Most frames have adjustable ear pieces that allow you to increase the size of the ear pieces, making them larger if you have a larger head. Make sure the ear piece rests directly in the middle of your ear.

3. Snap off the ear piece from the plastic frame. Some ear pieces are additions to glasses and can be moved along the plastic frame of the glasses. Slide the ear piece down to fit comfortably in your ear, then snap them back into place.

4. Purchase a small foam mount that goes over the ear piece. These can be purchased from most stores that carry headphones and other ear pieces. The foam mount wraps around the ear piece and allows for a more comfortable fit if the plastic pieces hurt your ear.
