Connect A Cable Converter To A Tv

A cable converter (also known as a "cable converter box") is a device that you connect to a non-cable ready television set so it can receive cable TV signals. Cable converter boxes are often supplied by your cable company when you start service but you can also purchase your own if you so choose.

Instructions

1. Screw the metal plug on one end of a coaxial cable into the coaxial input on the back of the cable converter box. You will know that the cable is tightly connected when the metal plug won't screw any further onto the plug.

2. Screw the metal plug on the other end of the coaxial cable into the coaxial "antenna" input on the back of your television set. You will know that the cable is tightly connected when the metal plug won't screw any further.

3. Plug the cable converter box's power cable into a wall outlet.

4. Turn on both your television set and your cable converter box. Your cable converter box is now connected to your television set.
