Adjust The Focus Lens On An Akai Big Screen Tv

When new cable or satellite connections are added or disconnected, it is not uncommon for the picture to look a little out of focus. In either case, you may need to adjust the focus lens on your Akai big-screen TV. Use the "Video" page menu function to easily make picture adjustments to match your desired level of picture crispness. You can access the option from the On-Screen Display (OSD).

Instructions

1. Press the "Menu" button on the TV's side view panel. The On-Screen Display (OSD) screen will appear.

2. Press the left and right arrow buttons to highlight "Video."

3. Press the "Up" and "Down" symbol buttons to highlight "Sharpness."

4. Press "Enter" and then make small adjustments to sharpen the focus lens screen settings. Press "Enter" again to exit the "Video" page menu. Repeat these steps until the focus lens on the TV is adjusted to suit your needs.

5. Press the "Menu" button to make your new focus lens sharpness adjustment the default setting for your TV.

6. Press the left and right arrow buttons to highlight "Setup."

7. Press the "Up" and "Down" symbol buttons, highlight "Default" and press "Enter" twice.
