Diy Manual Convergence Sony 65 Inch Projection Tv

The blue, green and red colors of your 65-inch Sony projection TV's display must be aligned to produce crisp, detailed images. Poor quality color and a blurry picture are common symptoms of misaligned colors. Perform a manual convergence for a finer-tuned color alignment is worth the little extra time it took you to achieve it.

Instructions

1. Turn on the TV and let it run for at least 30 minutes.

2. Press the "Menu" button on the remote control or TV control panel.

3. Press the "Joystick" on the remote control to make your selections and convergence adjustments. The joystick is a left, right up, and down directional dash button. Highlight the "Setup" icon. Press the center of "Joystick."

4. Highlight "Convergence." Surround a cross-hair that has a red outline beyond its edges. Press the center of the "Joystick." Move the "Joystick" until the red cross-hair is replaced with a white cross-hair and all of its red edges have completely disappeared. Repeat this step for all of the cross-hairs with red edges.

5. Press the "Joystick." Surround a cross-hair that has a blue outline beyond its edges. Press the center of the "Joystick." Move the "Joystick" until the blue cross-hair is replaced with a white cross-hair and all of its blue edges have completely disappeared. Repeat this step for all of the cross-hairs with blue edges.

6. Press the center of the "Joystick," then press the "Menu" button when finished.
