Bring Up Your Own Phone Number On A Nextel

Your phone number may be one of the most important pieces of information that you'll want to memorize, but if you rarely give your number out to others, it could easily slip your mind. All cellphones, including those used on the Nextel network, have a menu option that allows you to retrieve your phone number. The exact method of accessing this feature depends on what kind of software is installed on your phone. The Nextel i930 and the Nextel BlackBerry have a different operating system than standard Nextel cellphones have.

Instructions

1. Flip open the Nextel phone. Press the "Menu" key, which is located to the left of the directional pad or directly above the directional pad, depending on your model. The main menu will display on the screen.

2. Scroll down to the "My Info" option and select it. On some Nextel phones, you might need to press the right soft key to access the second or third page of the menu to access the "My Info" option.
