Connect A Nokia N95 To The Internet

Today's high-end mobile phones such as the Nokia N95 can browse Internet websites, check and send email, chat on instant messaging networks, download programs and even listen to and watch streaming music and videos. All it takes is to connect the N95 to the Internet.

Instructions> "Tools" >> "Settings" >> "Connection." On the Connections screen, select "Access Points" >> "Options" >> "New Access Point" >> "Use default settings."

3. Choose a name for your Internet connection. Usually, the carrier name followed by "Internet," "GPRS" or "EDGE" are some good ideas, but you are free to use a name of your choice.

4. "Packet data" as the Data Bearer and provide the APN you received from the carrier. If you were told in Step 1 to use a user name and password, provide the user name in the Username field, set Prompt password to "Yes" and provide the password in the Password field.

5. Set the "Authentication" field to normal or to the method you were told when calling your carrier. For the Homepage field, enter any site you would like to load when you open your phone's browser.

6. Press "Back" twice, select "Packet data" and set the "Packet data conn." field to "When available." Leave the Access point field blank here, and return to the home screen. Your N95 can now connect to the Internet.
