The Polaroid One600 camera is a camera that takes analog pictures that will develop instantly. The film for a Polaroid One600 camera comes in black cartridges that load into the front of the camera. Another interesting feature about Polaroid One600 film is that it can be manipulated during the developing process, allowing a photographer to create a distressed look to their photos. It is a great way to create unique and artistic images with your Polaroid One600 camera.
Instructions
Etching the Photo
1. Insert a cartridge of Polaroid One600 film into your camera.
2. Find the subject you want to photograph. Point the camera lens toward the subject and press the "Shutter" button on the camera. The location of the shutter button will vary depending on the camera model.
3. Remove the photo from the Polaroid One600 as soon as it comes out of the camera.
4. Place the photo on a solid surface, such as a table. Press down and etch on the shiny photographic side of the Polaroid One600 photo with a pointed tool, such as the end of a paintbrush or an inkless ball-point pen. Any area of the photo where you etch an image will not develop and appear as a white etching.
Peeling the Photo
5. Follow steps one through three of the first section.
6. Pick at the white seams on the back of the Polaroid One600 photo. You can use your fingernails, but a pair of scissors may help as well.
7. Peel the clear plastic section of the photo away from the black background part of the Polaroid One600 photo. You will see that there is a clear top layer, the black background and a thick white substance. This substance is the chemicals that process the photographic image.
8. Use the pointed tool to create etchings on either the the clear edge or the inside of the photograph.
9. Push the clear side and black background of the photo back together once you finish altering the photograph.
