Microsoft's Zune is a portable media device capable of audio playback, video playback, displaying photos, and wireless file transfer. The Zune supports AAC, MP3, and WMA audio files. When connected to your computer, the Zune acts like a portable hard drive. Files can be added or removed using your computer. Once a file is removed from the Zune, it cannot be restored unless you have the file saved elsewhere.
Instructions
1. Connect the Zune to your computer using the included sync cable.
2. Wait for the Zune to be detected.
3. Click the "My Computer" icon. Select the "Zune" icon. Click "Media." This will open the root directory of all the files stored on the Zune.
4. Simultaneously press the "Ctrl" and "F" keys. This will open the search explorer inside the Zune directory.
5. Enter the name of the songs you want to delete and click "Search." Alternatively, you can scroll down all of the files in the Zune directory until you find the ones you want to delete.
6. Right-click the file you want to delete, click "Delete" and click "Yes" when asked to confirm. The file will be removed from your Zune. Repeat Steps 5 and 6 until you have removed the files you want.
