For many of us, our DVD collections have been built over a number of years. We've purchased the hits we love, sought out those rare, hard-to-find movies and, most importantly, invested a great deal of our hard-earned money into the collection. One question comes to mind: How do I protect my investment? The most obvious and least expensive answer is to backup your movies using blank DVD discs and a powerful, easy-to-use program like 1Click DVD Copy. Let's take a look at just how simple the process can be.
Instructions
1. Open 1Click DVD Copy on your desktop.
2. Insert into your DVD burner the DVD movie that you will be backing up. It will take 1Click DVD Copy several seconds to read the disc.
3. Click the "Options" button in 1Click DVD Copy and make sure that your source and destination drives are correct. In most cases they will be the same drive, unless you are reading off one drive and burning on a different one.
4. Select the temporary folder on your computer that you would like the program to copy the DVD content to. This is where the content will be stored until it is burned onto the blank DVD you will be using later.
5. Click the appropriate boxes if you would like special features, subtitles and other languages to be backed up as well. Once done, click the "Save" button to close the "Options" window.
6. Click the "Start" button to begin the process. 1Click DVD Copy will copy the requested content and will compress it as necessary to fit on a blank, single-layer DVD. Once the process is complete, you will be prompted by a pop-up window to take out the source disc and insert the blank DVD.
7. Insert your blank DVD and click the "Burn Now" button. The burning process can take anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes depending on the speed of your burner and how much compression is needed on the original content.
