Doityourself Transfer 8mm Film To Video

Transfer 8mm film to digital video at home.

Preserve the images from your old 8mm film by transferring it to a digital video format. The aesthetic of 8mm is desirable to novice and professional filmmakers, but the greatest drawback of the format is that it deteriorates over time. Digital video can be stored almost indefinitely on solid state disks. Online companies offer transfer services than can cost hundreds of dollars. Luckily for the modern enthusiast, it is possible to transfer 8mm film to video at home at a fraction of the cost.
