Music To The Rca Opal

The RCA Opal is an excellent portable device which you can use to listen to your favorite music, watch videos and even store digital photos. Adding media to the advice is a simple process that only takes a few minutes. Here is add music to your RCA Opal.


Instructions


1. Begin by downloading the newest version of Windows Media Player. While you can use other media players to transfer music files to the RCA Opal, Windows Media Player makes your job very easy and is simply the best player to use while transferring your files.


2. Install Windows Media Player once you've downloaded the program. You may need or wish to restart your computer after you've fully installed the Windows Media Player software.


3. Plug the RCA Opal into your computer. To do this, you should use the USB chord which originally came with the device.


4. Select the “Sync digital media files to this device using Windows Media Player” option. This will be in a box which should appear on your screen roughly 10 to 20 seconds after you've connected the RCA Opal to your computer. To prevent this box from appearing every time you you connect the device, select the Always perform the selected action” option at the bottom of the box. Once you've done this and clicked “OK,” Windows Media Player will open and the program will recognize the Opal.








5. Choose the “Sync” option at the top of Windows Media Player.


6. Select either “Artist,” “Album” or “Songs” found below the “Library” heading on the left of Windows Media Player to find the media you wish to add to the RCA Opal.


7. Right click on a file and choose “Add to Sync list.” You should then see the file on the right-hand side of the screen underneath the Opal and the “Sync List” heading.








8. Click “Start Sync” on the bottom right portion of Windows Media Player to successfully add the files to the RCA Opal. The songs will then automatically be added to your player. Once all of the songs you chose have been added, unplug the player and you're all set.
