Enter Longitude In A Magellan Maestro

The Magellan Maestro, a global positioning system (GPS), uses satellite signals to determine your precise location and to calculate navigational information that is then overlayed on maps to route you to your destination. Some of the Maestro models allow you to find a location based on coordinates, such as the Maestro 4370 or the 4350. Others do not offer this feature, though all will display your location's coordinates on the map page. If your Magellan Maestro comes with the coordinate ability, you can input the longitude and latitude that you are searching for and you will be routed there.

Instructions

1. Press the "Go" icon from the main menu page. The icon looks like an orange arrow head.

2. Press the "Coordinate" icon, which looks like a globe showing lines of longitude and latitude.

3. Press "Longitude." Use the pop-up keypad to enter the longitude. Then press "Latitude" and enter the information using the keypad.

4. Tap "Done." The icon is green with a large check mark on it. A screen will pop up with routing information including the address, estimated time of arrival and routing method.
