Hook A Bluetooth To An Alltel Phone

Bluetooth is available for most cell phone carriers and a large number of cell phones. It can still be confusing to hook up though. Many cell phone companies have Bluetooth set up with the same methods, you simply need to make sure your phone connects to the Bluetooth device.

Instructions

1. Turn on your Alltel phone and make sure it is charged.

2. Go into "Settings" on your phone. There will be an option that says "Bluetooth." Enter this option.

3. Look for an option to turn the Bluetooth on. It can say anything from "Turn Bluetooth On" to "Discoverable" to "Register a Headset." Once you confirm the option through your keypad, a message will indicate that your Bluetooth is turned on.

4. Turn on your Bluetooth headset. Look at the phone's screen while it is searching for the headset. Eventually, it will say that it has discovered or found the Bluetooth headset.

5. Enter the security code into the phone for the headset, which you can find in the headset manual. Many default security codes for the headsets are "0000" or "1234."

6. Keep the Bluetooth option turned on in your Alltel phone, and as long as your headset is turned on, the devices will connect to each other automatically.
