Upload videos from the Sanyo VPC-CG10 to your computer for viewing and sharing.

The Sanyo VPC-CG10 digital camera can import pictures and video from the camera to your computer to view and to share. This camera comes bundled with a USB connecting cable that allows for easy interaction with a computer. Once set to the proper mode, the camera is recognized by the computer as an external device. Thus, you can copy any files from the camera to a specified location on the computer hard drive, such as the "My Pictures" folder.

Instructions

1. Turn on your computer. Connect one end of the USB cable to the Sanyo VPC-CG10 USB/AV terminal. Connect the other end to a USB port on the computer.

2. Open the monitor unit. Press and hold the "ON/OFF" button for at least one second to turn the camera on. A "USB Connection" screen appears on the camera monitor.

3. Select "Computer" on the monitor screen. Select "Card Reader" as the mode. The message "Found new hardware" appears on the computer screen. The camera is recognized as a disk.

4. Click "Start," and then click "Computer." Click the drive of the camera to open its contents.

5. Select the files you want to copy to your hard drive. Right-click and select "Copy" from the drop-down menu. Open the location where you want to save the files. Right-click and click "Paste" from the drop-down menu. The files copy to that location.

6. Disconnect the camera from the computer.
