Biwire Speakers

Bi-wiring creates a crisp clear sound coming from both the bass and treble. The point of bi-wiring is to separate the high and low frequencies so that the power of the bass does not overpower the treble, which is delicate. Most speakers now are made with two pairs of binding post, which can be used for bi-wiring when the copper links are removed.

Instructions

1. Select the best quality speakers you have to be bi-wired. If your speakers sound good already--once you bi-wire they will sound incredible.

2. Discard the copper links from your speakers.

3. Thread and attach a additional speaker cable to your second speaker.

4. Find both red and black conductors at the amplifier.

5. Insert the red and black conductors into the same binding post. If there are separate binding posts insert conductors separately.

6. Render each crossover filter enabled, which will allow both frequencies to be heard separately.

7. Listen to each speaker to confirm that each speaker cable conducts only the bass or treble separately.
