LogMeIn Ignition is an application that lets users synchronize data from a computer to another device. The user can run LogMeIn Ignition on iPhones and iPads, Android devices and from other computers using a USB flash drive. The user can update a flash drive by downloading a new copy of the client software from the LogMeIn site, but other devices require updates through their market applications.
Instructions
Upgrading on iPhone/iPad
1. Open the Ignition application on your phone, then check the version number by tapping the "?" icon in the top right corner of the Ignition screen.
2. Open iTunes on the computer you synchronize information with.
3. Click "Applications" under the "Library" section.
4. Click the "Check For Updates" button to update LogMeIn Ignition.
5. Synchronize your device to apply the update.
Updating on Android Devices
6. Tap the "Market" icon to open the Android Market application.
7. Press the "Menu" key and tap "My Apps."
8. Touch the "LogMeIn Ignition" listing, then tap the "Update" button.
