Wireless sound connections provide much-needed freedom to both on-stage performers and at-home hobbyists alike. For musicians who own an Audio Technica Wireless Microphone System, connecting a guitar equipped with a sound port is simple and necessary for situations where annoying wired connections aren't an option.
Instructions
1. Purchase a 1/4-inch female-to-female stereo coupler. These adapters can usually be found or ordered at most electronic stores. Many websites also specialize in a variety of detailed audio connectors. A female-to-female stereo coupler has a tube-like shape with an opening at each end.
2. Plug one end of the guitar cord into your guitar's output jack. Push the other end of the guitar cord into one end of the stereo coupler until you hear the connection click into place.
3. Locate the wire attached to the Audio Technica transmitter. Push the metal prong at the end of the cable into the other side of the stereo coupler until the connection clicks.
4. Strum the guitar to test proper transfer of sound.
Turn on the power to the guitar, transmitter and Audio Technica receiver. Make sure that the transmitter and receiver are set to the same channel. Test the audio by strumming the instrument.
