Use A Canon Camera Zr600

Modern camcorders are as light and easy to carry around as still-shot cameras.

Owning a camcorder is an exciting experience. You can now capture life in a way that a regular camera cannot: you can add special effects or simple transitions between footage, or upload your videos to the internet to share with friends. But for the less tech-savvy (or those who are more comfortable with good old fashioned VHS and 8 millimeter tapes), newer camcorders can be daunting. Fortunately, newer camcorders are much more user-friendly than their older counterparts, and the Canon ZR600 is no exception.

Instructions

1. Attach the battery pack in the direction of the arrow on the rear side of the camera. It hold securely when attached properly.

2. Connect the power cord to the camera on the rear side and plug cord into wall. Charge fully.

3. Unplug the power cord once the battery is charged (the "charge" indicator, a flashing light, will stop flashing).

4. Press the open/eject button to load a blank tape. Once the tape is pressed down correctly into the compartment, it will close automatically.

5. Press the power button to turn the camera on.

6. Open the LCD screen and remove the lens cover.

7. Record video footage by sliding the mode dial to select the mode, "camera." To record on a tape, the mode should be the word "camera" with a tape symbol beside it.

8. Press the start/stop button near the battery pack to begin and stop recording.

9. Replay footage by switching the mode to "Play (with tape symbol)" and pressing the joystick to the left to rewind, then press the joystick up to play. Pressing the joystick to the right will fast forward the tape, and pressing down will stop playback.
