Set Stations On A Sirius Sportster 4

Sirius has more than 130 channels.


Knowing set the stations on your Sirius Sportster 4 can mean the difference between an enjoyable listening experience and driving yourself mad. Sirius Satellite Radio has more than 130 channels of music, sports and talk-radio channels available. Since the number of options can be overwhelming, the ability to save up to 30 of your favorite channels is an important part of your listening experience. Storing channels on the Sirius Sportster 4 ensures you can always find your favorite programs and never miss a thing.


Instructions


1. Press the band button, and select your storage bank.


Press the "Band" button on the front of your Sportster 4. In the lower right hand corner of the screen, you will see the letters A, B and C. These are the storage banks available to store your stations. Each bank can store 10 stations. Use the arrow keys to select in which bank you want to store your channels.


2. You can also use the manual dial to locate a station.


Pick the channel that you want to save. When you have decided on a channel, press the numbered preset button where you want to store the channel, and hold it for two seconds. This will assign the channel to the number. The number that you choose will flash and remain lit to that it has been memorized.








3. Press the number to tune to your saved stations


To listen to the channels that you have saved; Press the "Band" button to activate the bank with the saved channels. Select the bank that the channel is stored in. Then press the number of the channel. The channel will then change to the channel stored in that number.
