Send A Picture Through A Text Off Of Yahoo

Send a Picture Through a Text Off of Yahoo

Yahoo! Messenger is an instant messenger service. You can add your friends to your messenger list and send them messages anytime they are logged on. In addition to having instant conversations, you can also share files, such as documents or pictures. If you want to send a picture through an instant message on Yahoo!, it is easy to do so. Yahoo! Messenger has two options for sending pictures to your contacts while you have the message window open.

Instructions

1. Sign in to Yahoo! Messenger with your username and password.

2. Scroll through your friends list and select someone to send a picture to. Double-click your friend's username and a message box will open.

3. Select the "Photos" tab at the top of the message box. You can share multiple pictures with someone this way. Your contact can preview the pictures and then select which ones to save to his computer.

4. Click "Add Photos" in the "Share Photos" box that opens. Scroll through your files, click the picture you want to share, and click "Open." If you want to share more than one photo at once, hold down "CTRL" to select multiple photos.

5. Alternatively, click the paperclip icon to send a picture to your contact. It is located right above the message window. The difference with this method is that the pictures will be saved directly to your friend's hard drive without being previewed. Scroll through your pictures, select the photo you want to send, and click "Open." The picture will be sent to your contact. If you wish to send multiple pictures, hold down "CTRL" while making your selections.
