Make Postcards From My Photos

Creating your own postcard adds a personal touch.


Sending a postcard to a friend with a picture you took yourself adds a personal touch to your communique. If you have taken some pictures on a recent trip, or of your family or pets, and you want to share them with others, there are a handful of online options to choose from.


Instructions


Kodak Photo Cards


1. Visit KodakGallery.com and click on "Cards."


2. Scroll down and click "Single-sided cards."


3. Choose the template you wish to use. Click "Create Card."


4. Click "Get Photos" to upload the photos you wish to use. Click "Upload photos," and create a new photo album for Kodak to use for the duration of your project. Upload as many photos as you need for your project.


5. Drag your photo on the template to finish your project. Enter a message for the card, and click "Continue."


6. Select your envelope color, and click "Finish." Sets of these cards cost about $6.99, as of mid-October 2010. Add your project to the cart, and check out.


Zazzle


7. Visit Zazzle.com and use the pull-down menu in the search bar to "Postcard." Click "Search."


8. Click "Create Your Own Postcards" and then click "Create a Postcard."


9. Click "Add Image" and/or "Add Text" to design your postcard. When you're done, click "Add to Cart." If you're done, click "Proceed to Checkout" to finish your order. Postcards cost about 95 cents apiece.








Vista Print


10. Visit VistaPrint.com and click on "Postcards" under "Advertising and Marketing."


11. Select the size you want, then click "Browse Our Designs." Here you can upload your own logo or photo.


12. Click the card that says "Upload Your Own Design" to create the postcard you want.


13. Click "Add Image." Click "Choose File" to upload your own image from your computer. Once you've chosen that, click "Next." Add text if you choose to.


14. Approve your proof and click "Next." Design the back of the postcard however you want it, approve it and click "Next." Finish your postcard by choosing how many you want--100 costs about $19, as of mid-October 2010. Check out and finish your order.
