Insert An Mmc Card In A Nokia 6600

The Nokia 6600 cell phone uses the less common MultiMediaCard (MMC) memory card as opposed to the more standard SD cards. The MMC card is used as extra storage for the phone, as it can hold photos, music, ringtones, text messages and more. Furthermore, the MMC card can be used to back up your data in the event that the 6600's main memory banks become corrupted. While it may seem difficult at first, installing the MMC card into the phone can be completed within a few minutes.

Instructions

1. Turn off the Nokia 6600 by holding down the red button on the right side of the keypad for several seconds.

2. Position the phone so the back is facing up.

3. Remove the battery cover by firmly pressing down with your thumb and sliding it off.

4. Remove the battery from its socket by gently prying it out with your forefinger.

5. Remove any placeholder that may be located in the MMC card slot, located near the bottom of the phone.

6. Place your MMC card in the slot with the label facing the right side of the phone.

7. Use your forefinger to gently, but securely, snap the card in place.

8. Replace the battery.

10. Turn the Nokia 6600 on by pressing the green button on the left side of the keypad.
