Adjust A Sony Cdp315

The Sony CDP-315 is a compact disc player released by Sony developed to be used as part of a home Hi-Fi system. The Sony CDP-315, released in 1994, is still considered to be a good CD player, even by 21st-century standards. In the manual, Sony details various things you can adjust to receive the optimum playback quality and sound. While these changes are minor, they will affect the performance of your playback.

Instructions

1. Adjust the connection type. If your amplifier has a digital input jack, then connect the CD player to the amp with a digital output cable. Doing this instead of the standard phono line out will allow for a digital sound signal to be sent between devices.

2. Adjust the location of the CD player. Sony recommends a location with "adequate air circulation." This is to prevent damage to the internal electronics of the machine. Also keep the unit away from direct sunlight, dust, mechanical vibrations and anything else that may disrupt the air flow.

3. Adjust the batteries if your remote control is becoming unresponsive. If you find yourself having to press hard on a button or that only some buttons work, then change the batteries in your remote control. Slide the back off, pop the existing batteries out and replace them with new ones. Reattach the back panel.
