Sync A Car Computer And A Cell Phone

Syncing your car computer and cell phone can create a whole new level of convenience, especially if you spend a lot of time in your car or need to keep multiple schedules and contacts accessible at all times. Sync your car computer and cell phone for the ultimate in information convenience.

Instructions

1. Plug the cell phone into the computer with the cables that came with it. This is usually a USB hook up. You should have already installed the software that was available to sync them. Load this software and open your calendar. This will often sit down in your tool bar on your desktop.

2. Right click on the small cell phone icon to get started. Make sure the phone is on and ready to receive information. Once the program loads, go to the "SyncManager" feature and right click to select it. A screen will load that will allow you to customize the information you want to upload. If the battery is low, just plug the phone into a charger while you are syncing.

3. Select the date range you want to load, as well as the contacts you want to import. Once you have selected the customizing, click on the sync button to interchange the information. When it's done, a screen will pop up letting you know this. You can also move on to other syncing options from the same software.

4. Repeat this process on a regular schedule, say on Sunday evenings before the start of a new work week, to keep yourself on schedule and ready for the day ahead. You can also sync music, contacts, backgrounds and other features using these same steps.
