Speed Cams To An Odyssey Mobile Gps

Odyssey Mobile is a software program by Infogation that provides maps of U.S. and Canadian roads. It uses Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to locate the exact point on the map where you are located, and is capable of providing directions from one point to another. The application allows you to create custom points of interest, so you may add the location of speed cameras (also known as safety cameras) to the map. This will let you know when you are approaching a point where you will be monitored by video camera.

Instructions

1. Place your Odyssey GPS into browse mode. Tap the main display with your finger and drag it to begin moving from your origin point.

2. Stop dragging once you have reached your destination point on the map. Wait a few seconds and a menu overlay will appear.

3. Tap "Settings" and then tap "Legend Items."

4. Tap "Add Speedcam" and then tap "No" when asked if it is a POI (Point of Interest). If you choose "Yes," your GPS will begin thinking the camera is a destination, rather than simply a point on the map.

5. Drag the camera icon to the exact point on the road map where you would like it to be placed. Tap "Close."
