Delete Timer History On Dish Network

Dish Network gives customers the chance to record programming, keep it saved on their system and watch it at a later date. The system has its advantages, but you'll also notice that your system can become full and stop recording the shows. When this happens, you need to delete the timer history and get back on track with your favorite shows.

Instructions

1. Look for the Guide button on your Dish Network remote. This large button is usually located in the middle of the remote, which makes it easier to find. Once you find the button, press and hold it down until the on-screen menu appears.

2. Select the Schedule option and highlight it by clicking once on the remote. Then move the arrow button down and to the side to highlight the History menu.

3. Scroll through the shows listed and select the show that you want to delete from your history. Push the Menu button again on your remote, which pops up a listing of options.

4. Choose the History Options Menu from those listed. You're then given another series of options and from this you want to select Delete Episode History. Then push OK on the screen.

5. Confirm the deleting of the show recording by clicking Yes and then OK. Alternatively, you can select Delete All History from the History Options and then confirm your choice, which deletes all the recordings and future recordings of the show. Continue these steps to delete the timer history of all shows on your system.
