Load Printing Paper Into A Canon Pixma Pm970 Series Printer

Canon Pixma MP970 Series Printer

The Canon PIXMA MP970 is an all-in-one inkjet photo printer. Its advanced technology lets you easily preview, scan, copy and print documents and photographs. This compact all-in-one printer can preview images in high resolution on its 3.5-inch TFT display, scan color images with resolutions up to 9600 by 2400 dpi and print directly from memory cards, cameras, DV camcorders, and even camera phones. This PIXMA will even print or copy on both sides of the paper. Loading print media into the printer is easy. Just be sure to use the right paper for the job.

Instructions

1. Determine the type of print media that is most appropriate for the document or image you wish to print. Remove the necessary number of sheets from the packaging. Inspect the sheets to insure there are no rips, tears, wrinkles or curled edges.

2. Tap the edge of the stack of sheets against a hard, flat surface to align the edges of the print media. Turn the stack 90 degrees. Tap the edge of the stack on the hard surface again to align the perpendicular edge.

3. Open the sheet feed cover, located on the lower front of the rear paper tray. Place your finger into the rounded indention on the top of the rear paper support. Pull the paper support straight up until it stops at its fully extended position.

4. Place your finger in the center of the paper output tray, located in the lower front of the printer. Open the paper output tray by pulling it toward you and down until it reaches its fully lowered position. Flip the paper output tray extension out.

5. Load the stack of print media into the rear paper tray. Align the print media against the cover guide on the right side of the paper tray. Slide the paper guide to the right until it is snug against the left side of the print media.
